Know the Issues. Know the Candidates. Know Your Power.

Register to Attend

Being an informed voter is about more than knowing when and where to vote. It means understanding the issues, knowing who and what is on your ballot, identifying reliable sources of information, and having the tools to make informed choices that reflect your priorities.

Join the Central Jersey Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for Session 2 of our Hour of Power Series: The Informed Voter Toolkit—an interactive, nonpartisan conversation designed to help voters navigate the electoral process with greater knowledge, confidence, and purpose.

What You’ll Learn

This practical, engaging session will help participants:

Research candidates and ballot questions using reliable sources of information
Evaluate political information and recognize misinformation and misleading content
Understand your ballot and the role of local, state, and federal elections
Connect the issues that matter to you—including education, housing, healthcare, economic opportunity, and community investment—to the ballot
Build confidence as an informed voter and make your voice count beyond Election Day

Whether you are a first-time voter or a longtime voter looking to become more informed and engaged, this session will provide practical tools you can use to better understand your ballot and participate in the electoral process.

Your Vote. Your Voice. Your Power.

Move beyond simply casting a ballot. Get informed. Ask questions. Do your research. Know what—and who—is on your ballot.

Join us for an Hour of Power and leave with the tools to vote with knowledge, purpose, and confidence.

Know the issues. Know the candidates. Know your power.

Democracy Doesn’t End at the Ballot Box.

It begins with informed, engaged communities.

Join the Conversation. Make Your Voice Count.
