Honoring Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

The Central Jersey Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has partnered with St. Jude’s Research Hospital to raise money in support of childhood cancer.

Our 2025 goal for this initiative is $2,222! Please consider joining our team to walk on September 28th and/or donate to our team to help us reach our goal.

As the community event for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the
St. Jude Walk is where we unite supporters across the country to
provide hope and healing for families during their toughest times.
Regardless of your pace or path, when you join the St. Jude
Walk, you’re taking steps to cure childhood cancer.

Walk Details

Sunday, September 28, 2025

8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Virtual

The virtual St. Jude Walk/Run event is powered by our interactive St. Jude Walk mobile app and is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play. You can participate virtually whenever and wherever you are. There are activity challenges, St. Jude stories, fundraising tips and everything else you could need within the mobile app. You can fundraise and participate right from the palm of your hand. It is free to participate, and we encourage fundraising.

Once the virtual event day experience goes live in the mobile app and you connect the mobile app to your activity tracker (Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin, etc.), you can enter the number of steps you want to complete, and it can be as many or as little as you would like. We will have 6 stops in our virtual route, and the mobile app will curate your stops based on the number of steps you want to complete. All our stops on the virtual route are St. Jude mission moments, and participants can watch videos and hear from a few of our St. Jude patients. You can truly do the virtual event day experience wherever you are and whenever works best for you.
